  • Requests to provide payment to participate in the hiring process (e.g., purchasing work equipment, phone, or something similar). Hoffman Media does not use recruiting or placement agencies that charge candidates advanced fees of any kind. We also do not provide advances to cover initial expenses, such as computers or other supplies.
  • Communications that do not include information about a specific job opening (or the job description is vague) and/or extend a job offer without an interview.
  • Job opportunities that come from people you do not know and appear too good to be true.
  • Communications where the recruiter claims to have seen your resume on a site with which you are not familiar.

Ecommerce Merchandiser – Digital Product & Merchandising Coordinator 

We’re looking for a driven Ecommerce Merchandiser to join our marketing team and help shape the digital shopping experience across eight brand storefronts. 

In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day operations of our online stores—from product listings and inventory management to merchandising strategy and seasonal launches. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow in the digital commerce space. 

 Key Responsibilities 

Ecommerce Site Management 

  • Optimize product listings across all brand storefronts, ensuring accurate imagery, pricing, copy, SEO metadata, and categorization 
  • Maintain product discoverability through thoughtful merchandising and site structure 
  • Create and manage SKUs, update inventory data, and ensure pricing and promotional accuracy 
  • Regularly audit and clean up outdated listings, categories, and coupons 
  • Coordinate with third-party distributors on product launches, inventory updates, and shipping details
  • Support product page testing and QA for website updates or new features 

Fulfillment & Wholesale Support 

  • Act as liaison between internal teams and external fulfillment partners
  • Process wholesale and drop-ship orders, including generating invoices and tracking documentation
  • Reconcile payments for events and wholesale orders fulfilled by third-party distributors 

Promotions & Product Launches 

  • Assist in executing seasonal campaigns and promotions, including coupon code and QR code generation
  • Coordinate new product launches across websites, ensuring consistent messaging and availability
  • Manage URL redirects and content gating for membership programs 

UX & Customer Experience Optimization 

  • Monitor website performance and customer behavior to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with the tech and creative teams to implement enhancements that improve navigation, trust, and conversion
  • Proactively suggest content, design, or structural updates that support a seamless shopping experience 

 

Skills & Qualifications 

Experience & Education 

  • 1+ years in an ecommerce merchandising, online store management, or digital operations role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field 

Tools & Technical Skills 

  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify, Squarespace)
  • Working knowledge of ClickUp or other project management tools
  • Familiarity with QR code generators, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video hosting platforms (e.g., Vimeo)
  • Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting 

Soft Skills 

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Customer Service Representative 

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our customers across multiple communication channels. This role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, handling subscription services, and coordinating wholesale orders while maintaining exceptional service standards. 

 Key Responsibilities 

Customer Service & Order Management

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, and social media regarding order placement, order status, shipping information, cancellations, tracking numbers, invoices, payment methods, events, and subscriptions 
  • Monitor and update order statuses in WP Admin from pending to completed to maintain accurate records  

Returns & Refunds

  • Process returned items notifications and issue refunds when items are received at the warehouse
  • Proactively contact customers to confirm return intentions and encourage reorders when appropriate

Administrative & System Management

  • Handle stock transfers from fulfillment center
  • Manage reports for event deposits and payments
  • Process payment authorizations for general reimbursables

Required Skills & Qualifications 

Required Minimum Experience and Education

  • High school diploma and two years in a related customer service position OR an associate’s degree [AD2]

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with a variety of customer service systems
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple software platforms
  • Experience with order management and subscription systems preferred 

Communication Skills
