The Emerald Isle’s Legacy
of
LINEN
and
LACE
The thread of Ireland’s long lineage begins in Lisburn, the birthplace
of Irish linen, and weaves through Dromore, the site of the country’s sole
surviving flax mill, where things have not changed in more than a century.
The needle is then picked up in Kenmare, home to the world-famous
lace that bears its name.
