Seeking an organized, self-motivated professional with managing editor experience (preferably with magazines). Will supervise day-to-day operations of the editorial staff; structure and manage contracts; and help the team meet production deadlines. This individual must work well with others and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. We are seeking writing and editing experience, and writing samples will need to be submitted for consideration. This position will involve proofing, writing, editing, developing stories, and providing ideas for future issues. Must be proficient in Word and Excel. College degree and related management experience required.

Consumer Marketing Manager

Seeking a full-time Consumer Marketing Manager with related industry experience to work in our Circulation Dept. This individual will assist the Consumer Marketing Director in new and renewal business acquisitions for magazine subscriptions. Must be analytical, organized, and detail-oriented. The position requires great math skills and proficiency in Excel. Marketing experience in the magazine/publishing industry is required.

Web Developer
Birmingham, AL

Seeking an experienced individual to build the operations end of our websites and keep them running smoothly. This includes building and implementing new web pages and sites; integrating sites with back-end applications; migrating legacy applications to the web; and performing day-to-day administration of our web portfolio. Should be proficient in HTML, PHP, CSS, ASP.Net, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, IIS, MySQL, and SQL Server. Minimum 5 years experience in web development. Web design experience helpful.
