An expert needleworker, Elizabeth Pugh possesses a passion for textiles and nearly anything rendered by hand with needle and thread. As the editor of Hoffman Media’s two founding needlework titles—Just CrossStitch and Sampler & Antique Needlework Quarterly—she strives to deliver breathtaking needlework designs to an international audience that comprises diverse artistic tastes and a range of skill levels.

A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee, Elizabeth was elected to the Epsilon Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and was named the top graduating senior of her class in the College of Arts and Sciences. She also holds masters degrees from the Russian and East European Institute and School of Journalism at Indiana University.  She considers herself fortunate to have discovered a job that has allowed her to turn both her hobby and her love of historical research into a fulfilling career.
